Viral vector platforms, CRO services and assay kits
FuBio supports gene delivery programs from vector design through batch release. Four service lines cover viral vector packaging, engineered oncolytic viruses, contract research and development, and the assay kits used to measure and purify what we produce.
-
Viral Packaging
FuBio produces lentiviral, adenoviral, adeno-associated and retroviral vectors for gene function studies, stable cell line generation and preclinical gene therapy programs. Each project runs through vector design, packaging, purification, titer determination and quality control release, with a single project manager as the point of contact.
- Four vector platforms: Lentivirus, adenovirus, AAV and retrovirus, all handled in house on a shared quality system.
- Design support included: Construct design, codon optimization and sequence verification are part of the packaging workflow.
- Documented release: Titer, purity, sterility and mycoplasma results are reported for every batch released.
-
Oncolytic Virus
FuBio engineers and produces oncolytic viruses across four platforms. Work typically starts from a tumor-selective backbone, then adds a transgene payload or a capsid modification to steer selectivity and potency. All material is supplied for research and preclinical evaluation only.
- Four virus platforms: Oncolytic adenovirus, Newcastle disease virus, herpes simplex virus and vesicular stomatitis virus.
- Armed constructs: Payloads such as GM-CSF, ADP and RGD-modified capsids are available in catalog constructs.
- Tracking reporters: EGFP, mCherry and other fluorescent reporters support replication and biodistribution tracking.
-
CRO Services
FuBio takes on defined development work for gene therapy, biologics and diagnostics programs: stable cell line engineering, targeted screening campaigns, vector design and development, and supply of validated host cell lines. Projects run against agreed milestones with a named project manager.
- Milestone-based delivery: Scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts.
- Single point of contact: One project manager coordinates construct design, production, analytics and reporting.
- Confidentiality first: Work is covered by a mutual non-disclosure agreement, with client data segregated from catalog data.
-
Assay Kits & Reagents
The kits FuBio uses to qualify its own vector batches, packaged for use in your laboratory. Titer detection kits give a functional readout of infectious particles, while magnetic bead purification kits capture and concentrate vectors from crude or clarified material.
- Functional titer readout: Detection kits measure infectious particles rather than total particle count.
- Magnetic bead capture: Affinity-based purification suitable for benchtop workflows and process development.
- Validated in house: The same protocols are used for FuBio batch release testing.

How a project runs
- 1
Requirement review
Send the target, the vector or cell system and the quantity. We confirm feasibility and the acceptance criteria before anything is quoted.
- 2
Design and quotation
Construct design, promoter and marker selection, and a written quotation with lead time and acceptance criteria.
- 3
Production
Packaging, purification and in-process controls, with a named scientific contact for the duration of the work.
- 4
Release and delivery
Analytical release testing, certificate of analysis, and shipment under the stated storage conditions.
