Engineered virus platform
Oncolytic virus engineering and production
FuBio engineers and produces oncolytic viruses across four platforms. Work typically starts from a tumor-selective backbone, then adds a transgene payload or a capsid modification to steer selectivity and potency. All material is supplied for research and preclinical evaluation only.
-
Four virus platforms
Oncolytic adenovirus, Newcastle disease virus, herpes simplex virus and vesicular stomatitis virus.
-
Armed constructs
Payloads such as GM-CSF, ADP and RGD-modified capsids are available in catalog constructs.
-
Tracking reporters
EGFP, mCherry and other fluorescent reporters support replication and biodistribution tracking.
Capabilities
-
Backbone design
Deletion and promoter strategies that restrict replication to tumor cells, including hTERT-driven E1A/E1B designs.
-
Payload insertion
Immunomodulatory and cytotoxic payloads cloned into permissive loci with sequence verification.
-
Capsid and surface modification
RGD and similar motifs introduced to alter tropism and improve delivery to target cells.
-
Propagation and release
Amplification in permissive producer systems with titer determination and contamination testing.
